The Stat Drop ("we," "us," or "our") operates thestatdrop.com. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information. The Stat Drop is an independent analytics and entertainment product. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Major League Baseball, the Major League Baseball Players Association (MLBPA), any MLB team, any MLB player, or any other sports organization.

We collect only the following information:

• Email address — when you voluntarily subscribe to our newsletter via the form on our website.

We do not collect names, payment information, account credentials, device identifiers, or any other personal data. We do not use tracking pixels, third-party analytics scripts, or advertising cookies.

2. How We Use Your Email Address

Your email address is used solely to send you The Stat Drop daily newsletter. We do not sell, rent, share, or otherwise disclose your email address to third parties, except as described in Section 4 (Service Providers).

• Amazon Web Services (AWS) — our website and API are hosted on AWS EC2 (us-east-2 region). AWS does not have access to subscriber data.

5. Data Retention

We retain your email address for as long as you remain subscribed to our newsletter. When you unsubscribe, your email address is removed from our active mailing list. Residual copies may remain in our email provider's system for up to 30 days following unsubscription, consistent with Brevo's data retention practices.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction — request correction of inaccurate data.
• Deletion — request deletion of your data. You may unsubscribe at any time using the link in any newsletter, or contact us directly.

7. Unsubscribing

Every newsletter we send includes a one-click unsubscribe link managed by Brevo. You may also email us at hello@thestatdrop.com to request removal from our list.

The Stat Drop is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted their email address to us, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

9. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the information we collect. Our website is served over HTTPS. Our API enforces rate limiting and input validation. We do not store payment data or sensitive personal information.

Our servers are located in the United States (AWS us-east-2, Ohio). If you are accessing our service from the EU or other regions with laws governing data collection and use, please note that your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States.
